After-school Self-Defense Class

We are exploring the option of hosting a self-defense / martial arts class for students on Sundays. It would have a Muslim Instructor, be gender-segregated, and provided at an additional cost.

Wali al-Asr Academy Staff are exempt from the lunch requirement and receive discounted tuition

Lunch Sponsorship & Volunteer Sign-up

All families are expected to help provide lunch for the students at least one Sunday during the year (teachers exempted).
Parents will provide money for catering (~$300 based on number of students enrolled)
Parents are also expected to setup, serve, and clean-up after lunch on their assigned day.
We have observed students express pride in this opportunity for their family to serve others.
If you would like to sponsor on behalf of you Marhomeen, provide us the names and we will offer al-Fatiha between prayer.

- I understand my Co-op responsibilities relating to the lunch and work program and will ensure this commitment is fulfilled.

Any photographs or video taken of students by volunteer or staff during school hours, at school events, or otherwise authorized by the Board of Directors, may be used by Yaseen Ed.
